In the County of the State of Oregon for Baker Oregon To the Hon. Peter Basche, Judge of Said County Court In the Matter of the estate of Alfred L. Currey, deceased. Your petitioners, H. E. Currey, H. M. Currey and J. W. Currey respectfully represent and show: -- That Alfred l. Currey died in Baker County, State of Oregon on the 4th day of June, 1911. That deceased was at the time of his death, a resident and inhabitant of said county and state and died intestate, leaving an estate in said county consisting of personal property, notes and accounts: That the character and value of said estate is as follows: -- About eighty volumes of law books, carpets and office furniture in Baker County, Oregon, of the probably value of about One Hundred and Twenty-five Dollars; accounts outstanding of the probable value of about One Hundred and Twenty-five Dollars. That the value of said personal property is about Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars. That deceased left no will or testament and made no dispensation of said property. That H. E. Currey, aged 51 years of Baker, Oregon, H. M. Currey, aged 24 years of Baker Oregon, J. W. Currey, aged 46 years of Spokane, Washington, are brothers of said deceased; and Mrs. Ethel Blackaby, aged 28 of Ontario, Oregon, Wilmath Currey, aged 20 years of Ontario, Oregon and Estalla Currey, aged 21 years of Grandview, Kansas are sisters of said deceased, and said above named persons are the only heirs at law of said deceased. That deceased left no widow or children, father nor mother and died intestate: -- That there are certain debts against said estate, contracted during his last illness, death and burial of said deceased, and certain debts due said estate that should be protected, that, therefore, it is necessary that an administrator be appointed to take charge of and manage said estate. Wherefore, your petitioners pray that H. M. Currey of the city of Baker, State of Oregon, a brother of said deceased, be appointed by your Honor as administrator of said estate of said deceased, and your petitioners will ever pray. H. E.
