President Harding Visits Hutchinson 1923


President Warren Gamaliel Harding, 2 Nov 1865 – 2 Aug 1923 was the 29th president of the United States, serving from 1921 until his death in 1923. A member of the Republican Party, he was one of the most popular sitting U.S. presidents while in office.

While in office, he made a presidential visit to Hutchinson, Reno, Kansas. The president was visiting the area to talk to farmers about the legislative measures taken by the government to assist American farmers. Kansas U S Senator Arthur Capper was also present during his visit.
