 Marion N. Avery, 60, 336 Liberty, died May 9, 1976, at Hutchinson Hospital.
 He was born June 3, 1935, at Hutchinson, the son of Travis Marion and Anna Evans Avery.  A longtime Hutchinson resident, he was a welder and a former employee at Wesley Towers, Hutchinson.
 On Oct. 17, 1969, he married Marilyn Wallsten at Hutchinson.  She survives.
 Other survivors include:  three sons, Ronnie and James, both of Minnesota, and Travis, Washington; two daughters, Tina Avery, Hutchinson, and Cindy Shea, Deerwood, Minn.; a stepson, David Tillett, Key West, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Carol Sumner, Hutchinson; two brothers, Emmett, Hutchinson and Henry, Clarks Grove, Minn.; three sisters, Myrtle Robinson, Alberta Crabbs, and Doris Swenson, all of Hutchinson; and 12 grandchildren.
 Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Larry D. Alexander presiding.  Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, Hutchinson.
