Rosa Mae Capps
Rosa Mae Capps, 78, of 739 West 1st, died June 6, 1983, at Hutchinson Hospital
after a long illness. Born Rosa Mae McGown May 16, 1904, at Linn Creek, Mo.,
she had been a Hutchinson resident for 30 years.
Survivors: sons, Robert Capps Stover, Mo., Hadley Capps, 808 West 23rd;
daughters, Bonnie Pryor, Concordia, Mo., Fredia Campbell and Shirley Huff, both
of Versailles, Mo., Rosa May Lee, Sedalia, Mo., Melva Hibdon, Oakview, Calif.,
Vera Lee Crock, Emporia; brother, Johnny McGown, Jerico Springs, Mo.; 27
grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson and Sons Memorial Chapel; the
Rev. Arlus Edwards. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call until 9
p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
