Mrs. Cora Edith Crispen
Mrs. Cora Edith Crispen, 78, 419 Justice, died at
Grace Hospital at 12:10 p.m. Saturday after a three month illness.
She was born Dec 18, 1882 in Avalon, Mo. She
moved to Hutchinson 40 years ago from Fowler. She was a member of the
Berean Baptist Church and the Royal Neighbors.
Survivors include the widower, Sam E., of the
home; a son, William Johnston, Kansas City, Mo.; two step-sons, Joe Crispen,
Bosworth, Mo.; Cody Crispen, RFD 4; two step-daughters, Mrs. Charles E.
Kemble, Bosworth, and Mrs. Ted Sampson, Biggs, Calif.; five brothers, George
Pennington, Loveland, Colo.; Jess, Tina, Mo.; Josh, Keathville, Mo.; Aaron,
Joplin, and Sid, Kansas City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and 26
great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at the Elliott
chapel, rev, Richard H. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn
Cemetery.
