Mrs. Wm. E. Hall
Mrs. Wm. Hall passed away at her home on Sherman
east this morning about four oclock, after a brief illness. She was over 59
years of age at the time of her death.
Nancy Jane Williams was born in Jaspar county,
Mo, in March 9, 1860, and lived at the place until she was two years old,
when she with her parents came to Lynn county, Ks., where she lived until
she was eighteen.
She married Wm. E. Hall of Iowa at that age, and
they came to Reno county, where they lived for a few years, later going to
Stafford, where they lived for twenty years. Then they moved to Hutchinson,
living there ever since.
To this union was born ten children, six of whom
survive the mother. They are A. N. Hall of Kansas City; Mrs. Joseph Rogers
of Colorado, Mrs. John A. Coots and Mrs. Paul Wilcox of this city, Miss Mina
Louise and Lotus Hall who live at home. also a grandson, whom she raised,
Ulysses Armstrong. She is also survived by two brothers, Charles and
William Williams of Texas, besides ten grandchildren.
Mrs. Hall was a faithful member of the first
Christian church, having been a member of this church for thirty years.
No funeral arrangements have been made as yet,
pending word from relatives.
