Harvey Koontz Dies
Death Came This Morning After Few Days Illness
This morning at five o'clock Harvey Koontz died
at his home, 121 Eleventh avenue west following an illness of but a few days
duration. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertie Koontz, two children,
Mable and Howard and his parents Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Koontz of this
city. three sisters, Mrs. Nannie Glover, of Newkirk. Okla., Miss Lulu
Koontz of Wichita and Miss May Koontz who lives at home and one brother,
Walter of Prescott, Arizona, also survive him.
Harvey H. Koontz was born in Jasper county,
Illinois thirty-eight years ago and moved with his parents to Kansas when he
was six years old. Lately he has been employed at the Nelson Hardware
Store. He was a member of the M. W. A. and also the Royal Neighbors lodges.
No funeral arrangements have been made as yet
pending the arrival of relatives.
