Mrs. Welthy Ostrander

Mrs. Welthy Ostrander, 418 West 16th, died in St. Elizabeth’s hospital at 3: 59 p.m. Sunday after one week’s illness.

Mrs. Ostrander was born in West Okoboji, Ia., Feb. 17, 1873, came to Hutchinson from Wichita in 1929, was a member of the First Christian church.

She was the widow of James F., who died Nov. 26, 1837.

Survivors area a daughter, Opal, of the home; two sons, Kq. Paul, Denver, and Earl D., Portland, Ore., a brother, Harvey W. Davis, 12 North Ford; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Elliott and Gard chapel with Rev. Thomas Bennett officiating.  Burial will be in Prairie Lawn cemetery, Wellington.
