"Ora Sawhill Services will Be Thursday" - Services for Ora Benjamin Sawhill, 81, of 5003 N. Shelton, retired plant manager for Dunn Packing Co., now Kansas Beef Industries, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Broadway Mortuary. He died Monday."Sawhill was born Sept. 7, 1892, in Belleville, Ill. He came to Wichita from Lincoln, Neb., in 1905.He was a 50-year member of the Meat Institute and Valley Center Masonic Lodge No. 264 A. F. & A. M. He also was a charter member of the Valley Center Eastern Star and a charter member of Wichita High "12".Survivors include: his widow, Nellie A.; three sons, Walter A., Haysville, Frank W., Springfield, MO., and Guy E., Valley Center; four daughters, Mrs. Nellora Vaughn, Wichita, Mrs. Rebecca Whisler, Kettering, Ohio, Mrs. Betty Nagel, Valley Center, and Mrs. Beverly Ray, Ellsworth, Kan., and three sisters, Mrs. Orpha Buxton and Miss Grace Sawhill, both of Wichita, and Mrs. Lucile Fry, Augusta, Kan."
