DEATH CLAIMS GRANT AHLBERG
Grant F. Ahlberg, 71, a retired salesman and branch manager with the J. I.
Case implement firm for 20 years in Wichita, died Sunday at his home at 1540
Fairview. Born near Lyons, Kas., on March 9, 1874, Ahlberg was graduated from
the University of Nebraska, practicing law for several years at Lyons and
Pawnee, Okla. He moved to Valley Center in 1909 and entered the implement
business. He was later associated with Allis-Chalmers and Boeing. A resident of
this city since 1920, Ahlberg was a member of the St. Paul's Methodist Church.
Surviving are his widow; a son, Second Lieut. Clark Ahlberg, with the U. S. Army
in Savannah, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. W. J. Stewart, 1435 Salina; and a
granddaughter, Judith Stewart, 1435 Sauna.
Funeral services will be announced by the Cochran Mortuary. Interment will be
made in the Lyons Cemetery.
