CLARA CONANT DIES
Mrs. Clara Conant, 50, of 1717 South Vine, died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born in Columbus, Kas., January 27, 1886. Survivors include her husband, Charles, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy May Rohr, 821 South Broadway, and Mrs. Mable Sand, Portland, Ore.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Walter Miller and Mrs. Ed Pulec, both of Salina; four sons, Fred and Melvin Stone, both with the U.S. Army in France, Orville Stone, 126 West Aley, and Ralph Stone, 5327 West Central; two step-sons Granville Conant, Wichita, and Charles Conant, California, and five brothers, Sam, Fred and Oscar Masters, Wichita, Les Masters, California, and Emery Masters, Arizona. Funeral services will be announced by the Downing Mortuary.

CONANT -- Funeral services for Clara Conant, 59, of 1717 South Vine,
who died Thursday in a local hospital, will be conducted from the Downing Mortuary chapel
at 3:30 p. m., Monday. Dr. James H. Tilsley will officiate. Interment will be in Highland
Cemetery.
