DR. JAMES EASTON PASSED AWAY TODAY
Had Practiced Medicine in This City 15 Years.
Dr. James Easton passed away this morning at his home, 130 Lulu avenue. The funeral will be announced later.
Dr. Easton had been practicing medicine in this city fifteen years. Death was due to kidney trouble and a complication of diseases.
The deceased leaves a widow and a son and daughter. The son is William J. Easton of the Powell Lumber company. Mrs. Samuel Ridenour is the daughter. Dr. Easton was 70 years old.

DEATH OF DR. EASTON
Has Been a Physician in Wichita Fifteen Years
Dr. James Easton, after an illness of several months, died at his home, 130 Lulu avenue, yesterday morning at (unreadable) o’clock. Dr. Easton had been a practicing physician in Wichita for the last fifteen years, and had become one of the most prominent practitioners of the city.
Dr. Easton was born in Scotland in 1841, but moved to this country soon after. There are left to survive him a wife and one son and daughter. William J. Easton, the son, is with the Powell Lumber company, and the daughter is Mrs. Samuel Ridenour.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10 o’clock at the residence. Rev. J. W. Anderson will conduct the services.
