Set for Father
Of Two Wichitans
Funeral services for Ralph Raymond Harper, 66, Potwin, Kan., father of two Wichitans, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Potwin Methodist Church. He died Saturday at his home.
The Rev. Jack Thomas, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Potwin Cemetery.
Born Sept. 25, 1891, at Potwin, Mr. Harper had been a life-long resident of that community. Until 1937 he had been a livestock dealer. He then operated a grocery store in Potwin until his retirement in 1951.
He married Carrie Mae Karnes on July 19, 1915, at Hutchinson Kan.
Survivors, besides his wife, include four sons, Bob, 3111 W. Maple, Tom R., 1246 S. Seneca, Curtis R., Morrisville, Mo., and George M., Lawrence, Kan.; a brother, Clyde M., Winfield, Kan., and five grandchildren.
Kirby Funeral Home, El Dorado, Kan., is in charge of funeral arrangements.
