Death Takes Pioneer

Richard Frank Heinig, 77, Resided in Sedgwick County 72 Years.

Richard frank Heinig, 77, a farmer who had been a resident of Sedgwick County for the past 72 years, died Monday morning in a local hospital. His farm home was on rural route 8.
Heinig was born in Germany, February 26, 1868, and came to this country with his parents when a small child. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, A. F. and A. M. lodge 86, and the Wichita consistory.
He is survived by two brothers, Alfred T. [Theodore], of route 8, and George O. [Oscar], 1625 Parker.
Funeral Services will be conducted in the chapel of the Downing mortuary at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Delbert Means will officiate. Interment will be at Goddard.
