FORMER KANSAS WOMAN IS DEAD

Mrs. Wallace James, the former Dorothy MacIvor of Abbyville, Kas., died May 5, at West Caldwell, N. J., according to word here. She was born on June 6, 1901, later attending the Emporia State Teachers College.

She taught in rural Reno County schools for two years, prior to graduating from the University of Kansas at Lawrence in 1926. She was the wife of Wallace James, formerly of Lawrence, Kas.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters; Dottie Jean and Alberta June, and a son Donald, all of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Ailene Foster and Mrs. Paul Ehling, both of Abbyville, Mrs. E. McBurney, Lexington, OkIa., and Mrs. H. E. Bowles, 960 Woodrow;. and two brothers, Donald H. MacIvor, 240 South Crestway, and R. H. Richards, 1801 West Twenty-seventh.
