Funeral Services for Mrs. Fern Hazel Johnson to Be Held Saturday

Services for Mrs. Fern Hazel Johnson, who died here Wednesday, will be held at Alva, Oklahoma, Saturday, in charge of the Howerton Funeral home.
While attending the Wichita Business college, Mrs. Johnson made her home with her sister, Mrs. Fred J. Carver, and was a member of the R.E.D. chapter of the Business and Professional Women's club.
Mrs. Johnson was born In Creston, Iowa, May 11, 1899 and moved to Blackwell, Okla. with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Wheatley, thence to Alva at the age of nine years where she attended school and college. She was married to H. J. Johnson of that city and to their union were born two children, Mrs. Rebecca Jean Wenthe, Randalia, Iowa, and Capt. Henry Dean Johnson, of the 358th fighter group, now in Germany.
In addition to her two children and two grandchildren, Mrs. Johnson is survived by a brother, Frank
B. Wheatley, Okmulgee, Okla., five sisters, Lela M. Carver, Wichita, Faye M. George, Dodge City, Ruth Corbin, Enid, Okla.; Mildred Pfielder, Lambert, Okla.; Dora Melton, Alva, Okla., and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Royal Neighbors camp, and the Christian church of Alva.
