MARTIN. - Charles Martin, 28 years old, died last night at a local hospital. He is survived by one sister, who is living some place in Texas, but as yet no information can be gained as to her address or name. At the time he was taken ill he was employed as a teamster with the Magnolia Oil Company at Augusta. The body is at the Mueller Undertaking Company awaiting funeral arrangements.

BRUCE. - The funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Bruce were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the home, 416 South Mosley. In the death notice yesterday in The Beacon the name of her husband, Alexander Bruce, as one of the survivors was left out. The burial was made in the Highland Cemetery. The arrangements were in charge of the Wichita Undertaking Company.

GILLETT. - Mrs. Hattie E. Gillett, of Riverside Township, died this morning at her home. She was 70 years old and came to Sedgwick County about ten years ago from Goodley, Kas. She is survived by her husband, L. J. Gillett, one son, Lewis H. Gillett and one daughter, Mrs. Bell H. Harsley, of Emporia, Kas. She is also survived by three brothers, Hiram, Bloomer and George Quimly, all of Alberta, Kas., also by a sister, Mrs. Odie Mercer, of Los Angeles, Cal. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the parlors of the Wichita Undertaking Company. Following the services here the body will be shipped to Le Roy, Mo., for burial.
