Wichitan Dies
In Local Hospital
Funeral services for Mrs. Laura E. Maupin, 77, of 2104 Palisade, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Broadway Mortuary. Mrs. Maupin died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital.
The Rev. Dr. Thomas O. Parish, pastor of Central Christian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Garden.
Mrs. Maupin was born June 25, 1883, at Louisiana, Mo. She came to Wichita from Vandalia, Mo., in 1932. She was a member of Central Christian Church.
She is survived by two sons, William A. Maupin, 4331 Bartlow, and Eugene M. Maupin, 1715 Greenfield; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Maupin, 1629 S. Parkwood Lane, and Mrs. Martha Smith, of the home, and three grandchildren.
