DEATH TAKES
A. N. Miller, 78, Kansas pioneer, a resident of Viola, Kas.,
died in a local hospital Thursday night.
He was born in December, 1866, at Pretty Prairie, Ind., and moved to Viola in
1883 where he made farming his occupation. He was a member of the township board
and the school board.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Miller, of the home; two sons, Gene
Miller, 2039 South Terrace and Dale Miller, 837 North Madison, and a daughter,
Mrs. Clarence Porter, Viola.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p. m. at the United Presbyterian
Church, Viola, with the Ebersole Mortuary of Conway Springs, in charge. Burial
will be at Peotone Cemetery.
