Vernice L. Shup, 37, a resident of Wichita for the past five years, died at a local hospital Friday afternoon. He was born March 30. 1908, and came to Wichita from Plainville. He resided at 128 North Poplar and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Shup, and a stepson, Keith Duane King, of the home; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Shup, Plainville, and three brothers Arnold Shup, Lincoln, Arthur Shup, Dexter, and Gordon Shup, Russell.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Downing Mortuary.
