SKAER. – Mrs. Margaret Skaer, mother of J. W. Skaer, and widely known thru her connection with the Augusta oil fields, died in Augusta yesterday. Mrs. Skaer was 86 years old and was born in Germany. She is survived by five children; J. W. Skaer, Mrs. W. F. Winzer, Mrs. J. L. Treweeke, Mrs. F. E. Church, and Mrs. G. W. Snyder. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home in Augusta and interment was in Elmwood cemetery.
