Thursday Rites Planned
For Mrs. Stella Sutton
Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Sutton, aged 72, of 1801
Lulu, who died late Sunday in Wichita hospital, will be held at the Flanagan-Bourman
chapel at 2 p. m. Thursday. Rev. C. R. Findley will officiate. Burial will be in
Wichita Park cemetery.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Boone county, Iowa, and came to Wichita with her
parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Goodwin, when she was six months old
and had resided here ever since.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Sutton, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Alta
Metzger, 815 South Estelle; Mrs. Lottie Mitchell, Belle Plaine, Kan.; Mrs. Hazel
Baker, 2223 South Mosley; Mrs. Adeline Brown, 2546 South Mosley, and Mrs. Vera
Bockelman, 1825 Ellis; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Troy, Derby, Kan.; Mrs. Leona
Huffington, Denver, and Mrs. Fannie Simpson, El Paso, Tex.; 11 grandchildren and
five great grandchildren.
