WICHITAN DIES
IN BUS CRASH
Mrs. Louise Wolff, 24, former Wichitan and wife of Pvt. William L.
Wolff, was killed instantly, Monday, when the bus which she was driving collided with
another vehicle at Los Angeles.
Mrs. Wolff was under army contract to convey soldiers by bus from Camp Roberts to Los
Angeles. The accident occurred during one of these trips.
Her husband, Private Wolff, is stationed at Aberdeen proving grounds, Maryland. Prior to
her marriage, she was Louise Lafever, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Lafever, 1848 South
Mosley,
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. George P.
Fox, 3541 Ross Parkway, Mrs. Milton Adams, Wichita, Mrs. Forrest Dunegan, Paso Robles,
Calif., and Miss Mildred Lafever, of the home; and one brother, James Curtis, U. S. Navy.
Funeral services and burial will be held in Wichita. Byrd and Snodgrass Mortuary will
announce funeral arrangements.
