in Lewis. I believe Allan had a son Wayne (lived in Lewis) who has
two children. They will be around forty to fifty years old now.

headed "Prominent and Respected Citizen of Lewis for Over 20 Years

1997 1928-1930 Searching for two brothers who were either
abandoned and/or orphaned in the southeastern area of Kansas year
of 1928-1930. Edward Otis &;Buddy; ALLIS, (dob 11/25) was may
given to a man by the name of FRED PERRYor was maybe left in the
town of Perry, Jefferson County, Kansas. The second boy was
Lawrence Robert ALLIS, (dob 2/1929) was left with a woman along
the side of the road when the parents car broke down. They never
came back for him, and may of ended up with a welfare worker by
the name of BALES. Neither boy would probably remember there last
name. The oldest boy may have been given away in exchange for a
bad debt. He may also remember a sister by the name of BERTHA
& BABE ALLIS or a younger brother.The parents lived in several
areas of Kansas during this time period. They were Lawrence and
Baldwin, Douglas county, Atichinson, Atichinson County, Ottawa,
Franklin County and Topeka, Shawnee county. The fathers name was

John Poyner and Martha Scott. I know very little about my
great-grandparents. I am told they had 13 children, of which I
have the following information on 7 of them. Jessie James (my
grandfather) and Essie Mae Poyner were twins born either Nov 12,
or Nov 18, in 1887 in Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas. Jessie died
in Carbondale, Oklahoma on Nov 24, 1964. He married Lena Galenah
Carney on Jan 2, 1910 in Jasper, Newton County, Arkansas. Essie
married twice, I know one husband's name was Charles Linville
Spencer. She died December 16, 1957. Their sister Martha Poyner
died in Arkansas, she married twice first to Roy Woodruff and
second ? Stacey. Annie married a gentleman by the name of Mance.
There were three brothers George, Frank and Jim. Jim died in
Jasper, Newton County, Arkansas. I would appreciate any help that
anyone could offer on finding out about my Poyner ancestors. Thank

parents names are William HENDERSON and Mary GRAHAM dates unknown
on them. She married George Clark ROGERS around 1884-85. I have
children's names, but no other info on them. These are my
daughter-in-law's family and would very much like more info. Thank
