Thomas Galloway Barton He lived in Belle Plaine from about 1877 to 1891. He married Charlotte Ann Barton who is in the photo above with her parents. He was a Union veteran and at his burial in Belle Plaine Cemetery was honored by the local chapter of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR).
