the voice we loved is stilled,
But in our hearts there is a space
That never can be filled.
We loved him, yes we loved him
But angels loved him more
And lovingly they called him
To the other shore.
Some day, again we'll meet him
When this weary life is o'er
And we shall be united
Where partings are no more.
