I am researching my great grandfather's family FITZSIMONS. George Fitzsimons was born June 1858 in Wisconsin and married Agnes WARD who was born June 1864 in PA. They were married in about August 1881, perhaps in Nebraska where their first child Lula was born 1882/3. Their next three sons were born in Kansas: Frank E March 30, 1886, Orrin Willard on 30 November 188_ in Rexford, Kansas, Thomas County, and Raymond E on May 4, 1892 in Kansas. Their third son Walter George was born June 29, 1901 in California. George Fitzsimons was a surveyor according to the family, but had a peach farm near Fresno California. I would like to know if he had a farm during the time the family lived in Kansas. Or if there are any records of their life in Kansas. Agnes was said to be an activist in the church and for women's rights. Of course, I would love to find out their parents names so that I can follow up on them. Any information is greatly appreciated, and I would of course exchange more details if desired.
