She was born in Trego County Daughter of Ralph and Yuba (Flynn) Wilds. She was a graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeeney, and Brown Mackie Business School, Salina, and she attended Gordon Bible College, Gordon, Neb.
She married LeVern A. Acheson on Oct. 8, 1944, in Trego County. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1996. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Carl Acheson and Roy Acheson, a daughter, Mary McCollom, 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Acheson; and a daughter, Melva Lee Pawley.
Burial in Wakeeney Cemetery
