Martin Bordovsky Martin Bordovsky was born in Troanoyic Morura in 1838. he emigrated to the United States to Texas with his wife in 1868. After six years he moved to Everst, Brown County, Kansas, where he was employed in a bakery. In 1904 he moved to Trego county, Kansas as a widower with one son, and lived on a farm near Voda for about two years when his son died. He then moved to WaKeeney where he has lived until his death which occurred Wednesday, April 13.

Mr. Bordovsky was a quiet old gentleman and was well liked and respected by all who knew him
. On Friday the 25th the funeral was held and the interment made in the WaKeeney cemetery.

[Martin Bordovsky's stone in the cemetery is a large black stone & was erected in 1915, with the following inscription on it, no death or birth dates just this inscription:
[Erected to the memory of Martin Borodvsky By the City Council of WaKeeney, Kansas March 1915] There must be a story here, If you know the reason for the WaKeeney City Council erecting this large & beautiful stone with inscription please share]
Burial in Wakeeney Cemetery.
