He was born in WaKeeney.
Son of Raymond H. and Lois Mae (Horner) Deines. He was a 1974 graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeeney. He married Jenda Bender on April 7, 1979. They divorced. He later married Robyn Swonger on April 2, 2005, in Kingsdown. He was a sales director for Triad Home Safety and was an auctioneer with Stithem-Fabrizius Auctioneer.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Jessie Deines, and Mandy Deines, his mother, a brother, Gary Deines, and a sister, Ranita Deines.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Burial in Wakeeney Cemetery
