Solomon Deines Jr., 88, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at Methodist Hospital, Omaha, Neb. He was born July 27, 1917, in WaKeeney, son of Solomon and Katharina (Karst) Deines. He attended school in WaKeeney and graduated from Trego Community High School. He married Eva L Deines on May 18, 1947, in Russell. She preceded him in death. He worked in carpentry and construction in the WaKeeney area.
Survivors include a son. Jerry L. Deines, a sister, Ruth Scott, two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial in Wakeeney Cemetery
