Rhoda M. Denning
Rhoda M. Denning, 77, Hutchinson, died Feb. 4, 2007. She was born May 19, 1929, in Battle Creek, Mich., daughter of Raymond and Velma (Baker) Good. She was a 1947 graduate of West Frankfort, Ill., High School and received her clinical technician degree in 1955 from Fitzsimons Army Hospital, Denver. She married Elmer Denning on Nov. 12, 1955, in Oakley. She was a licensed practical nurse in both the Army and in private sector at Mercy Hospital, Denver, and St, John�s Hospital, Salina. She was a charter member of Women in Military Service for America. She was a longtime volunteer at several military hospitals and the Kansas State Fair.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Paul Denning and wife, Marianne McMullin, a daughter, Rhonda Denning, a sister, Neoma Miller, three grandchildren, Daniel, James Brian and Sean; and a great-grandchild, Olivia.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Harold and Kenneth Good, and two sisters, Betty and Janice Good.
