Born in Denver, Co. Daughter of Alfred & Margaret Nickerson. She married Raymond Howard. She later married Lewis "Sam" King on March 4, 1954, in WaKeeney. Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Jean Carrington, & Janice Jones Sanders, a sister, Roberta Robinson, seven grandchildren, & a great-grandchild.
