Son of William Edward & Hilda Josephine (Johnson) Lynd. He married Alice Ann Wahlborg on June 15, 1950, in Ogallah, Kansas, Trego County. She preceded him in death Nov. 30, 1997. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Rynthia Mitchell, Yvonne Sustar, & Gwendolyn Cooper, five stepchildren, Four brothers, Alden, Marvin, Ronald, & Delmer Lynd, a sister Neva Butcher, 11 grandchildren, 15 stepgrandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, & 3 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Kevin Lynd, & an infant daughter.
Burial in Wakeeney Cemetery
