Toby Lynd, 49, WaKeeney, died Thursday, March 30, 2006, in rural Trego County.
He was born Oct. 6, 1956, in WaKeeney to Delmer and Dorothy (Hobbick) Lynd. He was a 1974 graduate of Trego Community High School.
He had served in the U.S. Army.
He married Penny Buchholz on May 10, 1975, in WaKeeney.
He was a farmer and stockman, and he had currently been serving as Trego County commissioner.
[At his request he is buried on a hill side on his farm.]
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Brooke Lynd, and Corey. Lynd, & his parents.
