John Mai, 90, WaKeeney, died Tuesday, March 14,2006, at Hays Medical Center.
This He was born April 15, 1915, in Garden City to Adam and Mary (Mehler) Mai.
He married Frances B.Reitmeyer on Sept.3,1937 in Hays. He was owner and operator of Mai's Liquor Store, WaKeeney, retiring in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, John D. Mai,two daughters, Shirley Meyer,and Cathy Andrew,seven grandchildren;and five great-grandchildren.
Three grandchildren preceded him in death.
Burial in Wakeeney Cemetery
