Barbara Malsom, 83, WaKeeney, died Wednesday, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney. She was born near St. Peter. daughter of Frank and Catherine (Wasinger) Richmeier. She was a graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeneey. She married George Malsom on Feb. 12, 1946, in St. Peter. Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Dennis Malsom, and Bill Malsom, two daughters, Donna Schmitt, and Susan Hearting, four brothers, Ben Richmeier, Joe Richmeier, Gerald Richmeier, and Ronald Richmeier, four sisters, Julia Scheck, Lydia Denning, Armella Ashworth, and Francis Nimz, 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Two grandchildren preceded her in death.
