Mildred A. SCANLON
Born in Geneva, Neb. Daughter of Edward John and Amy Louise (Garrett) Barnes. She grew up in Nebraska, graduating from Fairfield High School. She graduated from beauty school in Salina in 1935. She married Dale Scanlon on Nov. 24, 1938, on a farm near Collyer.Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Gale, and Jerry Scanlon, two brothers, Francis "F.E." Barnes, and Jesse Barnes. and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Barnes.
