On July b, 1856, she entered matrimony with Mr. Christof Wolff of Repnitz in Mecklenburg, Germany. This union was blessed with ten children, of whom; six have preceded her to the eternal home. The family lived in Addison, Ill, until 1880. The next four years were spent in Kuhlman, Ala. In 1884, they came to Washington County, Kansas, and two years later made their home in WaKeeney. Her husband departed this life February 14, 1908. Several months after his death, Mrs. Wolff came to live with her son, Otto, and family, where she made her home for the past twenty years.

Her one great wish was to join her dear ones in the home above. This wish was granted her, when she peacefully fell asleep in Jesus at 10 o'clock last Friday morning. Even though partially blind; she did not neglect her, daily use of Bible and Prayer Book. In the last week before her death, both sight and hearing failed her. The last twenty-four hours were spent in a state of unconsciousness, with the exception of only a very few minutes. She leaves to mourn her departure, four children, fifty grand children and seventy great grand children. Funeral services were conducted in. the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
