OBITUARY of GEORGE OTTO WOLFF
YOUNG BOY DIES 0F FARM ACCIDENT
The Young Son of Mr. And Mrs. Albert Wolff Fatally Injured At Farm Home
George Otto Wolff, the four year old son of, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wolff, was fatally injured last Wednesday afternoon when run over by the wheel of a wagon' when his father was hauling dirt. He was immediately brought to WaKeeney following the accident to the office of Dr. Burnett who took him to the hospital at Hays where he passed away that evening. George Otto Wolff, son of Albert C. and Marjorie Wolff, was born at Elrnhurst, Illinois, on May 10, 1938 and departed from this life on September 9, 1942, at the tender age of four years, three months and 29 days.
'When two months old, he was baptized into the Lutheran faith. He attended Sunday school with .his parents at Emmanuel Lutheran 'Church south of Ogallah where he took a keen interest in those first lessons taught him concerning our holy faith.
George Otto is survived by his loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert C. Wolff; one sister, Alice Marie; three grandparents: Otto G. Wolff, of WaKeeney, Kansas, and Dr. and Mrs. G. F. Schroeder, of Itasca, Illinois; three uncles; two aunts; two cousins, and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian Church' in WaKeeney on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with the sermon by Rev. Luther Kurtz. Burial in WaKeeney Cemetery.
