Woodson County Post Offices

During the fifty years time from when the first postoffice was established in a log cabin on the north side of the Neosho River in 1857 and called Neosho Falls, until the Rural Free Delivery was established in 1907, there have been 34 different postoffices established in Woodson County. There are now only four of of these postoffices left in the county: namely, Neosho Falls, Piqua, Yates Center, and Toronto. A list of these postoffices, dates established, year closed, and the first postmaster of each are listed.
