Obituary of LARRY E. KLEIN |
Larry E. Klein, 66, Hoisington, died August 10, 2001, at
Via Christi Regional Medical Center/St. Francis Campus, Wichita. He was born May 22, 1935, at Gorham, the son of Rudolph E. and Louise Klotz Klein. He married Helen Courange August 17, 1953, at Russell. She survives. He worked in the oilfields, working mostly for Kansas Fishing Tool, Great Bend. He moved to Hoisington from Russell in 1953. He was a veteran of the armed forces, serving in the United States Army. He attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic church, Great Bend. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Robin Klein. Survivors include; his spouse, Helen Klein, Hoisington; five sons, Curtis Klein, Cariadian, Texas, Mike, Larry and Todd Klein, all of Great Bend; and Robert Klein, Hoisington; two daughters, Karen Barrow, Great Bend, and Tammy Cushenbery, Ft. Worth, Texas; five brothers, Richard, Neal, and Fred Klein, all of Augusta, Georgia, Jerry Klein, Russell, and Melvin Klotz, Nevada, Missouri; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held Tuesday, August 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, with Pastor Garry Dassow officiating. Burial followed at Hoisington Cemetery, Hoisington. |
