Obituary of PAULINE CRUISE ALLEY
Pauline Cruise Alley, 91, of St. John's New Horizons, died Wednesday, November 28, 2001, at St. John's of Victoria Nursing Home, Victoria, where she had been a resident for two weeks.

Pauline was born July 2, 1910, at Auburn, to R. Clarence and Bertha McDowell Bundy. She was a graduate of Topeka High School.

She married the Honorable Benedict P. Cruise, October 7, 1937, at Topeka. He died October 15, 1982. She then married Marvin Alley on March 16, 1988, at Hays. He died May 29, 2000.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and BPW. She served on the board of St. Anthony Hospital when the new St. Anthony Hospital was built.

She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Paul Bundy.

Survivors include: her son, Rev. Benedict B. Cruise, Colorado Springs, Colorado; a daughter, Sue Boos, Hays; a stepson, Rev. Marvin Alley, Jr., Pratt; eight grandchildren; one step grandchild; 14 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 1, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, with Fr. Earl Befort officiating.

The Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. and a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m.

A memorial has been established with St. John's New Horizons Sun Porch Extension Fund.
