Obituary of FAYE A. RODGER
Faye A. Rodger, 80, Hutchinson, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born November 3, 1921, in Pawnee County to Gus and Ruth Norton Uhland. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, P.E.O., HP Chapter, bridge clubs, and Uandi Study Club. She attended Emporia State Teachers College and Kansas State University.

She married Raymond D. Rodger on April 26, 1974 in Russell. He survives. Additional survivors include: two daughters, Cynthia Reinhardt Bolinger, Waynesville, Mo., and Kimberly Reinhardt Rumburg, Ulysses; one stepdaughter, Rochelle Rodger, Hays; two stepsons; Ronald Rodger, Albuquerque, N.M., and Gary Rodger, Russell; one brother, Wendell Uhland, Owasso, Okla; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lt. Robert Hellener, who was killed in action in the European Theatre during W.W.II. Also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Andrea Ruth Reinhardt and a brother Norton Uhland.

Friends may sign a register book from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, Hutchinson.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Congregational Church, Hutchinson, with Rev. Richard Liles presiding. Inturnment services will take place at 3 p.m. at the Larned Cemetery. Larned.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Endowment Fund of the First Congregational Church in care of the mortuary.
