Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, at Hays Medical Center, Hays DATE OF BIRTH and LOCATION: May 25, 1927, in rural Damar, Kansas PARENTS: Armond and Theresa (Bouchey) Benoit SURVIVORS: His wife, Marie Brown Benoit, Damar; five sons, Robert �Bob,� Wichita, Gerald, Salina, David, Pueblo West, Colo., Daniel, Hill City, and Lawrence, Damar; three daughters, Carol McKenna Dick, Russell, Martha Irby, Aurora, Colo., and Joyce Tauber, Hill City; two brothers, Jerome and Richard, both of Damar; a sister, Zetta Gnad, Hays; 28 grandchildren; 18 stepgrandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Two brothers, Gilbert and Paul, a grandson and a great-grandson |
