DATE OF BIRTH and LOCATION: Sept. 23, 1927, in Webster, Kansas

PARENTS: Jacob and Daisy (Doughty) Thelen

SURVIVORS: Her husband, Gerald McLaughlin, of the home; a daughter, Brenda Moote, Windsor, Colo.; two brothers, William �Bill� Thelen, Hooker, Okla., and Robert Thelen, Topeka; four sisters, Mary Beck, Omaha, Neb., Kathryn Baber, Albuquerque, N.M., Shirley Estridge, Batesville, Miss., and Ruth Thelen, California; and four grandchildren

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: A daughter, Linda Smith, a sister, Darlene Larson, and a brother, Henry Thelen
