NAME, DATE OF DEATH: Ruth O. Carlyle, 91, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at the Rooks County Nursing Home

DATE OF BIRTH and LOCATION: Aug. 28, 1910, in Luray, Kansas

PARENTS: Samuel David and Grace Lea (Shull) Shull

SURVIVORS: A son, L.L. Brumbaugh, Topeka; two daughters, Jolene Gilbert and Carol Monroe, both of Plainville, a sister, Betty Downey, Washington; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Her husband, Martin S. Carlyle, April 16, 1966, four sisters and three brothers
