Funeral Card of HENRY PETER NUSS |
Henry Peter, son of Peter and Katherine Nuss (nee Boxberger) was born May 22, 1891 at the family farm home in north Barton County. He departed this life soon after suffering fatal injuries received while working on a disposal well near Claflin, Kansas on November 1, 1960. His age was 69 years, 5 months and 10 days. In early infancy he was baptized and later, after becoming of age he was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. He retained his faith in his church throughout his lifetime and was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Milberger, Kansas. On June 10, 1912 he was united in marriage to Pauline Strecker. There were 10 children born to this union, one of whom preceded him in death. He was a lifelong resident of the Milberger Community and played an active role as a farmer, blacksmith, carpenter and stone mason. With his numerous activities he came in contact with many people and won the esteem and friendship of folks he worked for and with. |
