PAUL STRECKER
Son of George Strecker, Sr. and Katherine E(lizabeth) Dumler, was born in Russell County, Kansas, August 23, 1909.

Paul was baptized in the Lutheran Faith on October 17, 1909 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Milberger, Kansas, and confirmed on April 1, 1924 in the St. John Lutheran Church at Russell, Kansas. Paul was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Galatia, Ks. for many years.

On May 20, 1937, Paul was united in marriage to Hermine Anna Hoffman at Great Bend, Kansas. This marriage was blessed with three daughters.

Paul and his family lived in Galatia community since 1937 where he engaged in farming and raising cattle. Mr. Strecker passed away Monday, February 14, 1983 at the Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas at the age of 73 years 5 months and 12 days.

Paul is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Roscoe (Barbara) Merry, Dubois, Wyo., Mrs. Steve (Melba) Haines, Great Bend, Kansas and Mrs. Alan (Karen) Maier of Otis, Kansas. Three brothers, Alexander of Roswell, N. M., Jacob, of Salina, Ks., and Ferd of Lakewood, Colo. Three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Newacheck of Russell, Mrs. Amelia Tittel of Great Bend, and Pauline Miller of Wichita, Ks. six grandchildren: Lynette, John, James, Brian, Timothy and Eric.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, April 29, 1980, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
