Obituary of MARTHA STEINERT |
Mrs. Martha Steinert, 80, of 1109 Susank Road,
Hoisington, died Thursday (4 September 1980) at the Hoisington Hospital
after a long illness. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Emmanuel
Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. Pastor Arthur Anderson will
officiate. Burial will be in the Hoisington Cemetery. Nicholson-Ricke
Funeral Home of Hoisington is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests memorials to the church or to the American Cancer Society in Mrs. Steinert's name. She was born May 6, 1900, in Russell County. She married Jacob Templing Sept. 14, 1919. He died June 1, 1951. She married David Steinert June 14, 1960 at Hoisington. A housewife, she had lived in Hoisington since 1941. She was a member of the Heritage Club, Lutheran Church Women and Victor EHU, all of Hoisington. She is survived by her husband, David, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Irene) Miller of Russell and Mrs. Floyd (Wilma) Hauser of Great Bend; two brother, Bill Michaelis of Tacoma, Wash.; and H. E. Michaelis of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Strecker of Gorham; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. (Funeral Card) (Funeral Notice) |
